In January 2011, the contract for the 190 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, contracted by CNEEC was officially signed in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, with a total contract amount of about 120 million US dollars. Sabah combined cycle power plant project is a thermal power project prepared to solve the power shortage in East Malaysia. It is located in Yapi, the capital of East Malaysia. The total construction period of the project is 26 months.

In January 2011, Shanghai Jonson fluid equipment Co., Ltd. stood out among many competitors by virtue of years of experience in barrel pump development technology and fluid equipment service and providing professional fluid transportation solutions. It successfully signed a cooperation agreement with China Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and CNEEC will purchase jonsn brand series barrel pumps for the project, It mainly solves the problem of fluid transportation in the project.
