The micro gear pump is a very widely used gear pump, which uses the change in working volume formed between two meshed gears to convey liquid.

The structure of micro gear pump is very simple, generally consists of two gears, pump body and front and rear cover, the interior of this casing is similar to a figure of 8.

The outer diameter and both sides of the two gears are closely matched with the shell, and when the gears rotate, the gears on the disengaged side exit between the teeth, thus making the space volume change from small to large to form a local vacuum.

The liquid outside is sucked in between the teeth under the action of atmospheric pressure, and as the gears rotate, the space between the teeth changes from large to small. The liquid absorbed between the teeth is carried to the other side, on the other side of the gear. The gears engage, and the volume in the confined space gradually becomes smaller, so that the liquid is squeezed out.

In short, the side where the gears are disengaged, the closed space volume becomes larger to form a vacuum, and oil is continuously sucked from the tank, while the closed volume on the side where the gears are engaged is decreasing, and oil is continuously discharged.
