1、 Attention

When the pump and motor are handling the pump, both hands should hold the main parts of the motor as a whole. It is not allowed to hold the pump head with one hand and the motor with the other hand. In this way, it is easy to pull the pressure plate of the pump head out of shape and lead to the leakage of the pump body.

Installation:

Pump installation: the pump shall be installed as close to the liquid source as possible, the size of inlet and outlet pipelines shall not be less than the size of pump interface, and the length shall be shortened as far as possible. If the inlet line must be long, increase the pipe diameter. Minimize the number of valves and elbows at the pump inlet.

Pipeline installation - use thread sealant or Teflon sealing tape as the seal of pipeline connection. Do not damage the pump head or affect the alignment of the pump during installation. When tightening the thread with a wrench, hold the pump head by hand.

Due to the small volume of the pump body, the inlet and outlet pipes are preferentially connected by flexible pipes to reduce the pipe force attached to the pump body. If the pipe stress or tensile force is too large, it is easy to stretch and deform the pressure plate of the pump body, which is easy to cause the leakage of the pump body. When the inlet and outlet pipes are connected by flanged rigid pipes, the support pipe frame shall be installed on the pipe to fix and align the center, It is necessary to ensure that the pipeline on the pump head side will not be pulled when the matching flange is tightened, so as to eliminate the stress and deformation of the pipeline as far as possible. Method of winding Teflon sealing tape: when winding the sealing tape, do not exceed the pipe orifice, leave two inlet screw teeth without winding the sealing tape, which can prevent the falling sealing tape from entering the pump body when the thread is tightened, and the sealing tape will jam the gear when entering the pump, as shown in the figure above

Magnetic drive ring – magnetic drive can make the pump achieve the requirement of zero leakage, and it can also provide protection for the overpressure of the system and the entry of particles. When the dislocation occurs under the extreme external force of the inner and outer magnetic rings, the phenomenon of spin off will occur.

1. When the pump stalls, the motor may continue to run, but the pump will stop running.

2. To resume operation, please stop and start the motor completely

3. If locked rotor continues, please check whether the system is overpressured. If the system pressure is normal, the pump body must be disassembled to check whether there are external particles into the pump body, causing gear stall. After cleaning the internal parts, reassemble the pump set. Before restarting, please turn the blades of the motor fan. At this time, the pump and motor should rotate smoothly.

4. Operating pressure - excessive pressure difference between inlet and outlet will make the magnetic coupling spin off, and the system pressure will fluctuate and make vibration noise.

5. Conveying materials with viscosity - if the viscosity is too high and the speed is too high, the magnetic coupling will spin off. Please operate according to the speed provided in the selection

6. Transportation of high temperature materials - before the pump leaves the factory, there is a safe expansion gap between the gear and the sliding bearing, so please heat the pump to the required temperature when transporting, otherwise the pump will have excessive internal leakage and pressure fluctuation at room temperature.

7. Self priming – the pump has self priming function, but make sure that the gear has been wetted by the pumped liquid before starting.

8. Dry running - dry running causes permanent damage to the pump. Please make sure there is liquid in the pump cavity when the pump is running.

9. Reverse rotation - the pump should rotate clockwise. A short period of reverse rotation is acceptable, but a long period of continuous reverse rotation will shorten the life of the pump.

10. Engineering plastic gear pump - it is strictly prohibited to transport or clean the solvents and materials containing dichloromethane, tetrahydrofuran, butyl lithium and dimethylacetamide. The transport of the above materials will cause our engineering plastic gear and shaft sleeve to swell and block.
